The plain terms on which Contour Prints sells you a print. Ordering means you accept them.
1. Who we are
Contour Prints (“we”) is a studio based in the United Kingdom, run by Joe Lines. Contact: [email protected].
2. Your print
Every print is personalised: composed by you in the Studio from your own data, photograph and words, and made only after you order. The preview you approve is the print — the title, date, dedication, style, size and frame are produced exactly as set. We may decline an order that contains content we cannot lawfully print, and refund it in full.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and shown on the order page as you choose the size and frame. Delivery is added at checkout once the address is known. Payment is taken in full when you order, by card or wallet through Stripe; we never see your card number. Your order is accepted when we send the confirmation email.
4. Delivery
Prints are dispatched within 3–5 working days of the order and delivered tracked. Delivery times outside the UK vary by country; any import duty or tax is paid by you. Risk in the print passes to you on delivery.
5. Changes and cancellation
You can change or cancel until the print goes to production — usually within a working day of ordering. Email us as soon as you can. Because the print is made to your specification, the 14-day cancellation right in the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply once production has begun.
6. If something is wrong
If a print arrives damaged, has a fault, or differs from the preview you approved, tell us within 14 days with a photograph and we replace it or refund you in full. This is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
7. Your content
Your activity data, your photographs and your words stay yours. You give us a licence to use them only to make, preview and deliver your print. You confirm you own, or have permission to use, any photograph you upload. Our layouts, styles and the Contour Prints name are ours.
8. Gift vouchers
A voucher is a single-use code for a framed print, valid for twelve months from purchase. It cannot be exchanged for cash; a print costing more than the voucher is paid for by the difference, and any balance left over is not refunded.
9. Liability
We are responsible for losses you suffer that are a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms, up to the price you paid for the print. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or anything the law does not allow us to limit.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in its courts, or the courts of Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there.
