What it reads from your data

A Strava heatmap print, from your own activities

Every activity in the range you choose, drawn as a translucent line so the streets you repeat build up brighter.
The city map beneath, streets and water, at the opacity you set.
A title, a line beneath it and the totals: distance, activities, the span of dates.
Your own colours: the route, the map and the words, each with a colour of its own.

Every part of the print can be moved, resized, recoloured or removed in the Studio; the route, the map and the words each take a colour of their own. Nothing is printed until you order.

How many activities does a heatmap need?

It looks right from about twenty. A single season of running makes a clear print; five years of everything makes a dense one, and the line intensity slider tunes it either way.

Can I limit it to one city?

Yes. Choose the activities to include, or a date range, and the map frames whatever is left; a print of one city, one year, is the most common heatmap we make.

Is this the same as Strava's own heatmap?

No. Strava's heatmap is everyone's activity; this one is only yours, drawn at print resolution on fine-art paper, with the map beneath and your words on it.

Connect Strava in one tap for a race, a ride or a whole year. Or search for a place, type a postcode for your street on the old Ordnance Survey, or add a photograph — none of those needs an account.
